Your first visit to Community Dental Care establishes the foundation for our relationship with you. We know that visiting the dentist makes some people anxious. At Community Dental Care, patient comfort and safety are our priority. We understand dental anxiety and make every effort to put every patient at ease.
During the first visit, we will take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. We will also review your dental and medical history. Your dentist will meet with you to discuss your X-rays and your oral health goals, help you create a treatment plan, and answer any questions. At your next visit, a hygienist will clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. Your visit will last between 45 and 90 minutes.
Because we respect your time, when you arrive for an appointment, we make every effort to keep your time in the reception area to an absolute minimum. We kindly request that you show us the same consideration by giving us at least two days notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment so we can offer that time to another patient.
Please be sure to bring the complete Patient Forms and, if you have insurance, your insurance card to your visit.
